The image above was selected from my HSC Visual Arts body of work titled 'Metamorphosis'. The subject matter (a boxers hand in motion) is akin to rebelion and aims to break free of the shackles society enforces upon the modern day individual.
The Seagram building (NYC, 1954-58) was designed by the German-American architect Mies. The building was America’s first glass skyscraper and the pantheon for modern purists. It is the use of space in its most efficient form and elucidates his dictum “Less is more.”
This image I took of Harry Kewel is beautiful because it captures a combination of speed, balance and control.
